How much long before PPC & Remarketing start converting leads?

PPC & Remarketing ads are each a little different, so I'll answer this one at a time.

PPC Ads can start converting as soon as they are approved by the platform they are on (can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours depending on load).  However, by monitoring and optimizing the ads & our targeting over time (and using strategies such as split testing) we've gotten between 2 to 5 times the results we got in week 1 compared to weeks 12 or 15.

As for Remarketing Ads, you'll need an audience of at least 100 unique visitors (this example uses Google's requirements) before the ads even start to run – so depending on your site's current traffic this could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.  The good news is, we can keep people on your remarketing list for up to 18 months before Google automatically removes them – so over time, your list can get absolutely massive.

Remarketing ads typically cost anywhere from a few cents to just over $1 dollar per click – so these are some of the most inexpensive clicks you can pay for, especially given that the list of people you are targeting are the individuals most likely to request a quote from you in the future.

Even if you decide not to start paying for Remarketing Ads now, there is no reason why you can't start building a targeted Remarketing list now so you can launch an ad campaign at a moments notice at any point in the future.
